The COLA project, Conferences On-Line Allergy (COLA), consists of the bi-weekly presentations at the Children's Mercy Hospitals & Clinics Section of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology. The lectures are comprehensive and cover most of the spectrum of allergy and immunology. They were originally sponsored by the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI) as part of a grant. The leader of the project is the former ACAAI president and current chief of Allergy/Immunology at Children's Mercy, Dr. Jay Portnoy.
